Cal. 30-06. S# 309727. Bbl. 24". Hooded blade front sight. Ladder aperture rear sight graduated to 2600yds.1917A1 Machine gun built with USGI parts & DLO registered right sideplate. Right sideplate has Rock Island Arsenal markings with FK inspector stamp. Parkerized finish with brass trunnion & endcap. Hard rubber grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: tripod with head, wooden ammo box, water hose, water can & beer can flash hider. CONDITION: grips show a large chip at bottom of right panel, a crack at bottom of left panel & some handling marks. Brass parts are a dark yellow patina with some tarnishing, flaking & staining. Balance of metal retains 85% parkerized finish with some silvering, handling marks, light oxidation & overall fading to a light gray. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bore with strong rifling. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT MG REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION.
